1. Welcome
...to the new .shadowlandBBS format. A Wiki. No more forum for things like game logs, characters, etc. Now when you want to archive something, simply make a new wikipage to it. If you are new to wiki editing, it's fairly simple, and not entirely unlike BBC code and html's bastard stepchild. You can find 
documentation on wikipedia to get you started, though several of the more complex commands are not supported by our version of the software. Have fun, and create away; no more waiting for me to start a forum for your game and organize it for you. If you want a campaign, start a page, and people can link stuff to that page. For ideas you can look at VirtueVerse on how you can set up character pages and story arc pages.

Adding a page is done like this Adding a New Page. Please be sure to read Formating Campaigns And Character Pages for how to follow the wiki's naming convention for page names and keep my inner OCD Monica from exploding.
3. User Registration
Anyone is free to register, but this wiki is intended for the gaming groups of the shadowlandBBS.net forums. If this isn't you, then please don't edit pages you have nothing to do with.
The first thing I would like everyone to do after registration, is to edit their own user page with very basic info – ie, who you are, etc. Once you've done that, your user page is a great place to store links to your characters, the campaigns you play in, etc. have a look at mine for some ideas if you like (John C).

4. How to Use This Wiki
This Wiki is intended for use with the campaigns being run out of the shadowlandBBS.net forums. IE, anyone in one of John's numerous and fractured gaming groups. If this is you, then please register! Once registered, you can create content to your heart's desire. Create pages for your characters, your campaign, yourself! (Your user page, by the way, is a great place to link to your various character pages.) Or simply browse and comment on the stuff others have created. Either way, welcome to the madness...
5. Who can edit this stuff?
You can!
No really, any page that is not owned by a specific individual (Character pages) can and should be set to be editable by any registered user. This includes main campaign or system pages. If you have something to say or add, please do! part of the reason for moving us to a wiki is to give people more freedom to be involved, and take some of the burden off of me. At the very least, use the commenting feature on pages that you have something to say about.
